It came nicely packaged, the size is perfect for a beginner. My daughter is learning and she is really happy with this. It sounds nice and is a great value. The storage case is functional and fits all materials. The build is sturdy.

This is a smaller sized glockenspiel with fairly thin bars. The note range seen in the pics is accurate. It comes with a pretty solid, height-adjustable double braced stand that the glock screws on to and is stable enough for normal use. With the thin bars the sound is just ok, and volume is pretty limited. Hence, it makes a nice learning or practice tool at home, but I can't imagine using this for performance. The biggest downside it the "music stand", which is flimsy and won't hold much in the way of music. Even a moderately thick book is not going to work. It also comes with 2 sets of plastic mallets and a thin canvas storage/travel bag. If you buy with the right expectations, it's not a bad deal. But don't expect this to be a performance level instrument.
