So far, we have been happy with the functionality of this warming mat. I got this as a complement to another warming mat that we had because of the bigger size that this offered, and it has come in handy in a few occasions for larger gatherings. As a way of comparison, our other mat (which seems to be more or less the standard size of these warming mats, with this product being on the larger side) would be hard pressed to hold more than two large plates; we would easily be able to fit 4 plates on this, even of the larger variety, as well as 3 aluminum trays (with the longer side of the tray being set to the shorter side). In most cases, we do use the smaller mat just because it takes up less countertop space; however, it is good to have the option of this larger tray, especially for larger gatherings where we are making more variety of dishes.Operating the mat is very straightforward and easy. You just need a regular power outlet pretty close to the mat, as the cord is a bit on the shorter side, but we have been able to use regular extension cords with it to lengthen that without any issues. In terms of the temperature, I would probably look to set it higher than what you want the food/serving dish to stay at, as we have had much better luck with the higher temperatures (this has been true of both warming mats that we own).The silicone mat is also super flexible, so it can be rolled up and stored away (it comes with a bag that you an use for that purpose as well!) when not in use, which is another plus, especially with our often full kitchen countertop space.In terms of cleaning, we have been able to just use wet wipes on the product, making the clean up after use easy.Overall, we would recommend this product!

I love this warming mat! I have another brand that is good but this one is easier to use and more versatile. I do a lot of cooking for large groups and sometimes chafing dishes are not appropriate. My other mat is a little smaller and only gives me two temp settings. This one not only has a digital thermostat but also a timer. It warms quickly and is super easy to clean. This holds three 9x13 baking dishes side by side. My other mat only holds 2. The handy storage bag is nice for keeping it dust-free when not in use.I highly recommend warming mats over chafing dishes for most situations. If you cook for large groups or even a large family and food seems to get cold before everyone is done eating, you need at least one of these.

I’ve tried a few different warming trays offered on Amazon and I’d say that so far, I’d rate this one the best. It was originally priced much higher than it is currently. At this time, it’s 30% plus another 15% off. That makes it even more highly rated in my opinion.All of the silicone warming trays have many basic features in common with variations in color, size, number of temperature presets, auto off timers, etc.There are a lot of uses, but it’s not intended to COOK your food. It keeps this warm that have come out of the oven or warms things like bread, plates,etc.This one has nine preset temperatures- it’s nice, but not that necessary. What I LOVE about this one is the size - it’s a LOT larger than any others I have. I can put several things on this at the same time. It’s so practical. And when you’re done, let it cool off and then roll it up and store it easily.I definitely recommend this warming tray!

This food warming mat is absolutely great at what it does. This is a lightweight, well designed and thought out warming mat that works very well. The silicone surface is very easy to clean, and the feet under it keep the heat off of your countertop, which is a great feature. The mat looks great, and the control panel on one side edge of the mat is simple and easy to operate. This can be set at 9 different warming levels going all the way up to over 200° which is plenty hot, and is probably as warm as I would ever want something like this to get. This comes rolled up tightly, and it is easy to unroll and re-roll it. I store mine in a kitchen drawer, and it is so quick and easy to use. This does take up a pretty large area of counter space, it is over 31"long so if you have a small place check the dimensions before ordering to make sure it will fit where you want to put it. Hopefully they will also make a smaller version of this for places with really small counter space like dorm rooms for example. This larger one is ideal for those times when you have planned an ambitious meal, and you need somewhere to keep the things you have finished with warm while you keep cooking, and it is also ideal for keeping dishes warm while everyone eats, and allows for easy servings helpings without warning them up. I like this mat a lot, and I find it to be handy for so many more things than I thought I would. This is a good performing, well made product, and I can recommend it.
