Really nice spool of 1/4" nylon rope. Tight braid. A bit slick for stage work, but the quantity and quality are top notch. One of the better purchases I have made.

It is perfect. Strong with a bit of stretch. Holds a 36' mast with just a enough spring to allow a small bit of movement in 40 mph winds.

This rope is very strong, easy to work with, doesn't tangle easily, and only time will tell about its durability. But I was quite impressed with working with it yesterday. Installing a ham radio antenna

This rope is strong and reliable. I use it mostly for hanging wire antennas in trees. It tolerates the weather very well and thus far I have had no failures.

A little smaller than I wanted, but works ok.

I purchased this in Feb 2023 based on the reviews. Dacron rope is normally supplied to hang ham radio antennas and the black color rope will generally be more resistive to UV than other colors. I have not used this yet as it is winter but expect that it will last for years outdoors once installed. Time will tell. One thing to note, the 500 foot spool was much lighter in weight than expected.

I received the wrong length. Not quite happy at it becomes to expensive. Really good quality though

Very durable and lasts for years. I purchased this on the advice of a fellow ham radio operator and it works great after it finishes stretching from the weight of the antenna over a few months. I've had a 130 feet (39.63 meters) doublet antenna fed through a Balun Designs model 4115t 4 to 1 5K rated current balun between RG8 coaxial cable and 450 ohm ladder/window feed line and I've had to tighten the ropes 3 times in a year. So far it has finished stretching now and is very stable and very strong as well. Very 73 = hamspeak for Best Regards from amateur radio station KU4GW.

I used this to suspend an amateur radio HF dipole antenna in thick forest. Probably could have used a thinner version but this size worked well. I recommend this product.

3/16" X 500 Ft Dacron Polyester Black Cord (#6) -- Quick delivery. Well wrapped on a strong quality spool. Excellent product. Can melt ends to secure braid. Black braid with a white core. No to very little stretch. Knots hold well. Reasonably soft and flexible. Too soon to assess durability.I bought this rope to string 150' end-fed long-wire antennas through trees. This is great for that purpose, but for future similar projects I will probably go with the 1/8" version of the same product. The 3/16" inch is maybe a bit of overkill for holding up end-fed wire antennas; but 3/16" would be perfect for dipoles that have to support a coax center feed line.
