There are a few things that you can always use more of or have extra of around a house and hooks are one of them in my opinion. A swivel hook is even more so as it's like a more useful version of a carabiner. I've used them for hanging plants, hummingbird feeders or for backpacks and waterbottles or hats etc. In this particular case, we needed it for a garden project. We installed an awning ourselves to protect my garden from excessive heat and hail. The awning did not come with hardware, just the adjustments like grommets so I decided to see if these would be strong enough to do the job. They were and so far they have worked wonderfully. No issues like squeaking or unclipping and they seem to be the best solution for the job.

I picked these up to hook onto the attachment points in the bed of our truck since we have a liner and access holes to the hooks can be a little hard to latch onto. These seem well-made and sturdy. The latch is easy to push in and they spin easily...should work great for my needs.

I was worried about the quality when I ordered these because of the good price and lack of real scale in the listing pic. These are solid and swivel effortlessly, I got them to hang heavy tools from the rafters in my garage and they work great.I included a couple of pics that include a pencil and tape measure to give you an idea of gauge and scale.I was surprised by how heavy the Amazon pouch felt when they arrived.Hope this helps

I love these hooks!We are using them for electronic fencing clips.These are much heavier than any that we have used before.These are super sturdy (and again heavy) for sports use.I really like these!The are perfect for what I need them for!

I got these for holding up a large sun shade in my yard. The shade is pretty heavy and gets blown around a lot so I need some strong hardware. The swivel allows it to move without stressing the hook much or the things its attached to, and the snap hook allows easy removal of the sun shade.

This is a good piece of light duty tackle. I decline to consider it "heavy duty" simply for the lack of any positive lock incorporated into the gate. There is nothing to prevent it from opening inadvertently or being bent open under extreme use. Aside from that important detail, the hook functions as intended and is constructed with stainless steel. It's uses should be limited to non critical purposes such as flags, small pets, or clothes lines for just an example. Anything use that could have an impact on someones life such as certain scuba diving applications, dangerous animals, or heavy overhead loads should NOT be attempted with tackle like this.

These stainless steel hooks are even better than described! They are very heavy duty, extremely well made, and are going to be perfect for hanging things in my shed. I love them! Great price and exactly what I wanted.
