I used these on my electronics on my boat for noise and interference . Took lots of interference out.

I didn't actually have any audible noise problems, but all of my audio gear uses switching regulators and my power amplifiers are Class D, so i thought that I would do a little bit of preventive noise contamination maintenance. Also, I occasionally use my VHF/UHF handheld Ham radio, and the background noise level is not that great. I haven't done an A/B test though to see if adding the Ferrite clamps actually made a difference.

Review of 30Pcs Clip-on Ferrite Ring Core RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Cable Clip.Ferrite beads or as these are called ferrite rings are used to suppress high frequency noise from cables, one may consider these a simple measure to use to suppress noise but unfortunately their use can be quite complicated and in fact choosing the wrong size ferrite bead or even placing one in the wrong place can actually make the noise situation worse. The supplied ferrite beads are the elongated clip around cable type, the core virtually the same size as the case, they appear well made and do clip together easily, however no specifications are provided as to attenuated high frequency range covered, maximum or minimum current or temperature usage range, all factors that will influence the impedance of the ferrite core as to how well it will work or not work at all.So whilst we have a collection of different size beads no usage guidelines are supplied especially when these are advertised for both high and low voltage cables, in fact when used on ultra low voltage cables such as USB a voltage drop can be induced by the wrong size ferrite bead, this in turn causing problems for the operation of the electronic circuit. My point in this review is that frequency suppression and ferrite beads are a lot more complicated than just wrapping around a cable, a lot of factors have to be taken into account to achieve the best results, used wrongly they can make an EMI and RFI problem worse than before applied. These ferrite rings do work but time and calculation are required to obtain the best results.

This set of ferrite rings can come in useful when you need them, i'm not going to tell you how or when as if you are looking then i’m sure you already know what they are for.In this set you get a good selection of sizes which should cover any size of cable you need to suppress, I was getting a low hum on a subwoofer in my AV system which was being picked up through the mains and adding one of the ferrite cores has reduced it a fair bit (though I may add a couple more in the system to try and remove it completely)So these are definitely recommended if you are in need of some suppressing 😀

🔌 This is a selection of ferrite slip-cores designed to mitigate interference in connection cables, primarily in audio applications. I have used such cores for years, and while they are not always necessary or guaranteed to work, they are ubiquitous for so many applications, including power wires. They can’t do much harm if you decide to fit them, usually at the end near the amplified device or the device that you are plugging a power wire into.🔌 They are made of a plastic case with two moulded-in clips and a ferrite core. The clips are a little tricky to work on the smaller cores, but it's not a big problem. They are suitable for cables with inner diameters of approximately 3.5mm, 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, and 13mm. The package includes 30 cable clips in five different sizes. All the different sizes are individually bagged.🔌 Adjusting the ferrite core on the cable seems to be more of an art, even though it isn’t strictly. The best results seem to be to have the cable being remediated in position and then move the core up and down the cable until a sweet spot is found.🔌 I have used cores that secure in place with cable ties, and I had concerns about these, but I needn’t have worried. These cores have cable grips built-in so that the cores grip the insulation of the cable. This is a really good feature, but it adds some difficulty if you need to slide the core up and down the offending wire to find the point where interference is ameliorated. The cores are detachable and reusable, and they simply open up and clip onto the wire.🔌 I really like that there’s a good selection here, and I intend to keep the set in my big bag of spare gig wires for use when I get some guitar interference that needs to be sorted. With such a variety of core sizes, there should be something for every situation. ✔️

As someone that loves their sound equipment and has two PC's for streaming these have come in handy more than I could ever imagine. I was always getting a buzzing noise on my mics and through my headphones and on various audio equipment in my house and these have completely cured this issue with stopping the interference, I will note that sometimes these haven't worked but I can only imagine this is because of another reason as they have worked extremely well on other equipment so this doesn't effect my review rating as I feel it's an isolated type of problem rather than them not performing as they should. You get a wide range of sizes and they easily clip on.. I mean they work really well so far, which is exactly what you want.. Quick and easy to install and they perform really well, what more could you want?

These work great for reducing RF noise for certain electrical items. Comes in a variety of sizes so you can use the right 1 for your needs, seem very good quality and have some weight to them too.

This is a handy kit if you're trying to reduce noise on your speakers, mic or other devices, but you don't know exactly how big you need the ring to be.I've been trying several things to get some intermittent hissing reduced on my speakers, and these DID help a ton, initially I had the ring near the source but it didn't help much, when it was put right up against the speakers, it was vastly reduced.

This is a good assortment of ferrite RF noise blockers, covering five different sized wires. I do wish the manufacturer gave the composition of these ferrites, though. The plastic shells seem to be good quality and snap together firmly. Overall, they are good enough.

Clamped onto several power cords for guitar and other amps. No difference at all on any of them. Add another? Like adding 0+0. Change position from source to input? Nope. None of these worked for anything I tried, no matter what I did. Money down the drain.
