This charger is much better than the separate USB with power adapter. The length is perfect to be able to place the camera in a place where it belongs. This is more weatherproof than the separate USB cable.

The battery on my Nest 2nd generation outdoor camera was getting to the point where each recharge was lasting less than a few weeks. I did not want to spend money on a new camera. Therefore, this 30 foot cable was the perfect solution. The pins fit perfectly in the camera charging slot and the cord was loing enough to reach a power outlet in on the outside of my house.

This 30-foot power cable is a lifesaver for my 2nd generation Google Nest Cam (Battery). The length is perfect and it provides me with plenty of flexibility when it comes to placement. Also, the weatherproof design gives me peace of mind knowing that it can withstand the elements. The flat cable design makes it a lot easier to run the cord along the walls so that it is less noticeable. Most importantly, this cable delivers a continuous and stable power supply, which means I don't have to worry about my camera's battery life. If you're going to power up your Nest Cam without any interruption, this cable is definitely a must-have.

I LOVE the fact this charger has a much slimmer plug thanks to the inline adapter. This allowed me to plug it into a place where the OEM charger wouldn't fit. I've purchased a few of these aftermarket adapters before and some of them have issues where they connect to the camera, or refuse to charge after a few days. I'm not having any of those issues with this one! The cable is as long as advertised and the quality feels great. Would definitely recommend this for anyone needing to squeeze it into an outlet that already has a larger adapter in it.

This Nest Cam (battery) power supply actually works. Unlike other off-brands, this one can maintain full power when your Nest Camera is recording and transmitting footage 24x7 via Nest Aware Plus and keeping the battery topped off.It's got some physical differences to the official long power cords. First, the connector plug to the camera is not angled at all. Next, AC power plus is a standard plug, so it doesn't eat up 2 sockets. The transformer is in the middle of the cord. Also the cord beyond the transformer is flat, which allows easy access under doors or between gaps in windows.Mounting gear is also included.The only negative is that if the transformer being near the middle of the cord restricts how long you can run the cable if the access is smaller than the transformer block. It would have been nice if they moved it only a few feet from the AC plug.This is a very good power supply cord and has some differentiating features that may prove very useful.

I purchased a Nest cam for my backdoor but grew tired of tracking down the charger when the battery needed charging. This hardwire option gives me total view and continuous recording while preventing the need to take the camera down and manually charge the battery.

Worked perfectly for my nest cam that I have mounted outdoors. I was concerned since the charging pins didn’t match up exactly but it gives power and charges the battery just fine. The included clips work great for the flat cable, and there’s no risk of pinching the cable since the nail is offset, a very cool design. Was able to get it installed fairly quickly, the main hurdle I had to get over was getting the wire to stick on brick. I used hot glue every foot or so and it has been sticking just fine. I got extra length just to be safe and was able to bundle it up and tuck it into a corner.
