Real Thick 18AWG
Real 18AWG vs Common 22AWG, real 18AWG are bigger wire than other 22AWG pigtails, as it has heavy gauge with 43 pcs 0.14 mm 100% copper strands inside one cable, total 86 pcs 0.14 mm copper strands inside the two Red / Black cables. This makes the difference when using with bigger power supplies, and allows them to be used for higher current devices, they should be good to 5A or even a touch more with real 18AWG.

Sometimes the connections become a little loose between the barrel and plug and I have to just rotate it or regular it a little for the power to come through. But most of the time it works okay, I can live with it.

You get a lot for your money. Only issue is that the wire size is 0.6mm2. I thing that is closer to 20 awg wire than 18 awg, but fine for all of my needs. Plus you get 10 sets of the screw type connectors which you could attach thicker wire to.

What do you know, the wires are as advertised! I looked at some other Milipeak items, and they also appear to be high quality, so I will buy from them whenever I can!

I use them for small projects both AC and DC. I also use them in place of "some" small battery powered test devices that use 9VDC and 12VDC. I install the cable and use an appropriate external mains powered power supply for that particular device. (These are typically things that I use at my workbench anyway where I have easy access to AC power) I do have one 9v battery pack made up also so if I want to make them portable again. (albeit now a less convenient external battery) They are very easy to work with. I use them in applications where I don't need the much higher current capability of connectors like "Anderson Power Pole" connectors
