I’m really happy with this screen mesh. It feels sturdy and well-made, and I love that it still lets in plenty of fresh air while keeping bugs out. Cutting and installing it was easier than I expected, and it blends in nicely without looking bulky. It’s a small upgrade that made a big difference in making my home feel more comfortable.

Pretty dang tough stuff, that works like a charm. Aside from it being a little awkward to cut, there was no problem using this to patch up a few of our exterior screens. Would recommend, especially for the price.

I was hoping this would have been less flimsy, we’ll see how it last.

A visitor thought it would be a good idea to secure their dog in my chicken coop. The dog busted out the door---thru the glass slats and the screen. This screen mesh is perfect. It's strong, but relatively easy to cut with scissors. It dents like metal, so be careful when handling it. It's different from the screen fabric I've previously used. I live near the ocean and anything that can rust will do so promptly. I'll add to this review if that does happen, but being 304 stainless steel, I'm hoping it doesn't.So far, I'd recommend this.

I used this “apgbwj 304 Stainless Steel Window Screen Mesh, 39.4 in X 9.8 ft Metal Woven Wire Mesh” to fix a cat damaged door screen. It went together easily. The old screen was oxidized aluminum, the new screen is stainless steel. Much stronger. I don’t think I’ll ever have to do that repair again. I’m really happy with this material. A great value for me.

Love this stuff. I have used it to repair a screen door, a window screen, and i have also used it as a root barrier on a pond we built in the back yard. The mesh is durable while also being easy to work with. It's easy to cut and pliable so you can work it into different shapes. So many uses for it. It's not like typical window screen materiel, it is much tougher. It can hold a shape if you bend it. That said, it also works great repairing window screens as you can see through it. Cool stuff. Tons of uses.

(Please disregard the light hue. This is a standard silver color. The point was to show the length.) I would recommend gloves when working with this product. Also, it definitely cannot be used without a frame or, at minimum, a thick tape over the edges. They're sharp. It's strangely flexible, which I understand is deliberate, but makes it slightly more difficult to work with. However, it is heavy screen, I imagine it would be difficult to rip or tear it.

We have a lot of double hung windows in our house with storm windows and screens, as well as eight exterior doors with storm/screen inserts that I change each spring and fall. All of the screens are aluminum, I have tried using fiberglass in the past but found it lacking in too many respects. Although aluminum does not ‘rust’ like steel, it does oxidize and weaken and I have to patch or replace the screens occasionally. This stainless steel screen material is more attractive than my weathered aluminum but I am not certain it is stronger. The wire used to weave it looked rather thin when I opened the package, so I measured an individual strand with a micrometer. Its diameter is about 0.16 mm compared to 0.22 mm for the aluminum screen I have been using, meaning the cross-sectional area of each strand is only half as much. On the other hand, stainless steel has a tensile strength several times as high as aluminum’s so, I hope, these two factors will cancel each other out and my new stainless steel screens won’t be easily damaged by an occasional push and certainly not by oxidation.
