I used them to install gutter guard. They are acceptable, but did not penetrate the gutter near as easy as the ones that came with the gutter guard.

I use these screws to fix my gutter guard, they look shiny. The best part is its hex head, which is very convenient when using my impact driver, especially because it is on gutter - I don't have to precisely insert the screw driver bit, the hex head has good grips and will do the job effortlessly.

ended up drilling a pilot hole to use these screws, kept snapping them off even after I turned the the drill setting down. No problem after that.
