I like to build plastic models both from kits and scratch build. I also make dioramas to display some of my models. I ordered these sanding sticks to help with the fine detail sanding of some of my builds. The shape works well for sanding down the seams left by the molds on plastic models. The 150# grit is a little aggressive but does the trick easily. These sticks also work well to clean up headlight, taillight and window holes in the models.One thing I noticed was that the sticks can break easily when you are using them by holding the ends. If you grip them closer to the sanding grit end, they are less likely to break.These are very handy, and I can recommend them for fine detail work. I wish they came in a multi grit pack as I would like to try out other grits also....

These are a detailer through and through. you probably wont use them 99% of the time but when you do need, these are clutch. very very handy for detail work.
