I bought these to replace broken calculators for my students because they offer versatility and resemble more expensive brands. I am feeling discouraged, however, as I prepare them (unbox and remove the battery tabs) to find that of the 9 that I've explored, 2 of them have dead spots. It is also unclear if they have an auto shut-off feature.
