So, I installed and have been using this cooktop for about 2 weeks and all is working well. It's easy to wipe down after use and puts out plenty of heat to boil water on any of the heating elements. Keep in mind there is an on/off button in the lower right corner below the control knobs. The knobs operate smoothly and feel well made. I like how the 3000W main element is on the other side of the knobs so if water boils over it won't flood them causing the unit to short. The unit itself is ultra low profile boasting just over 2" thick which is great since I have a drawer just under it. I boiled water and after checked inside the drawer to see how hot things got but the contents in the drawer were only mildly warm which I was happy to see. Make sure you have 2" clearance between the bottom of the unit and what is below it. I have about 2.5" clearance. The unit was not too heavy and was easy to install with 3 wires coming out of it. It came with a colored diagram to show me how to connect it with the house power. (Blue to Red, Brown to Black, Green/Yellow to Green) The surface is made of black glass that is sturdy and sits nice and flat to the countertop only sticking out about 1/4". Be sure to apply the foam strip to the underside of the lip to ensure no water will seep under the unit in case of a spill. The unit runs on at least 30 Amps, #10 wire, 220/240 volts. Ensure your breaker/fuse is at least 30 Amps in your power panel. Most circuits in newer homes use 40 Amps for a range cooktop so you should be good. Mine was 30 Amps because it's an older home so I was glad to find this product that runs on 30.

Well this looks nice but it doesn’t fit my kitchen. Didn't realize you can only use certain type pans for this to work.

The dual ring burner makes for a quick cook setting and especially great when I want to get the kettle going for a nice cup of tea or if I am bringing a sauce to a boil before letting it simmer.This unit has enough power to cook just about anything you want relatively quickly while staying at a great price range.I have several of their units and I am pleased with their performance.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

I like the knobs better than the digital cooktop. Very nice cooktop. Easy to installation. Easy to clean. Definitely gets very hot. Works well. Does have a bit of a smell but nothing unbearable. Good choice

Just got this yesterday. I installed it myself. I had to use some shims to make the brackets fit tight. It looks great and everything works perfectly. There is an on/off switch which I did not notice until I rewired it several times (how embarrassing!). It is in plain sight and mentioned in the Manuel. The price was lower than I expected. I found it on a list of best stove tops on the internet.
