The Tick Removal Tool Kit is designed to cradle the body of the tick and to not exert pressure on either its mouth parts or its body. It can therefore be safely twisted in one direction, which allows the barbs on the tick’s mouthpart to be freed from the surrounding tissue.
The twisting action also helps to crack the special saliva cement. The tool doesn’t cause any compression to the body of the tick and so it minimises the risk of back-flow of the tick’s saliva and gut contents, and therefore helps to avoid disease transmission.

We have 4 dogs, so every once and while one of them ends up with a tick. We have always removed them with tweezers but it's gross, messy, painful, and we worry about doing it wrong and potentially squeezing diseases out of it into their bloodstream. We ordered this a while ago because they came highly recommended. It arrived in its store packaging, so it looked legit. They are made of plastic and look pretty small so we were worried that they wouldn't work or that it would be too small to hold in your hand. Well we finally got a chance to use them today when we found a tick on one of our pups. The tick was really small so the smallest size actually did the trick! It was so quick and easy, the entire tick came right out in a second. Ticks always vary in size so I'm really glad this comes with a small, medium, and large set for next time! Highly recommend, way better than tweezers any day

These are very easy to use. And the different sizes make it easy to remove all size tick.

Thankfully, I haven’t had the need to use this yet, but decided to go ahead and buy a stainless steel higher quality tick removal tool. I put this in my truck as an emergency back up. I’m sure it’ll do the job and the time comes.

I have used these two times so far. I used the large and small size. They are fantastic! I easily and fully removed a large and very very tiny tick with ease. My dogs were more comfortable than they typically are during tick removal as well.

Too small Jared to use with big hands thwir the size of a tooth pick , very disappointed
