I used this ribbon to put on affirmation jars. It did not like the scissors at all! I tried curling the ribbon with scissors, but it tore the ribbon. So, I just rolled the ribbon around my fingers to get the twirl and it worked. I love that this ribbon is made of paper and it is really beautiful. When I delivered the affirmation jars to the teachers at my kid's school, one of the teachers commented on how beautiful the ribbon was.

I love raffia ribbon and this is my first use of "multi" ply strands. Each roll has 6 different coordinating colors. I use it to tie gift bags and the great part is that I don't have to cut multiple strands to get the size I want. One or two strands of this is more than enough. It makes bow tying on packages a breeze with all the loops it makes when separating the color strands. It notes that it's $.02/foot but there are 6 different colors in that foot so it's actually $.01/yard - great value!

This would be great for tying as ribbon on packages or presents. It seems hard to separate the colors at first, but if you bend it over a pen or the closed scissors and run it down the length it comes apart very easily. This is OK for crochet & knitting, but the end product comes out more "rustic & handmade" looking than what I was hoping for. I should have purchased already twisted paper chord or rope for a more refined look.

Pretty and easy to use. You scratch inside the spool with your finger til you get the end loose and then it pulls easily. I tied it around my packages leaving a big bow. Then I separated the colors. That was a little hard to do. The ladies at the party were reluctant to undo them because they looked pretty. Each of the three spools has a different color combo. It was fun to match the right one to the tissue paper wrapping.The only thing I didn’t like is the three spools are wrapped in plastic and each spool is also wrapped in plastic.
