My rental has an old style jacuzzi tub. The kind that always has nasty water, impossible to clean the jet system and my landlord is too cheap to drop thousands to replace ;). Well, those 6 jets are sitting in 1 1/2" pipes. So why not use engine freeze plugs!! Laugh but they work great so now we can take a nice deep hot bath without the hazardous water leaking in from the jacuzzi.

One of the plugs was damaged and didn’t find out till it was installed but the others are fine

Not fancy but seem to be made out of good neoprene and steel. I was surprised.
