Works perfect with my 5 gallons vac. The old one had fallen apart. You can put it over the fine filter bag or just over the canister (for wet vacuuming).

When I put the first one it split at the seam. So for the second attempt I soaked it with water. It went on much easier and didn't split.

I've used a couple of these now. One worked perfectly and fit better. The other was looser and didn't do quite the job I was hoping for, but my shop vac is still working, so it probably worked well enough. Overall, these are probably slightly less thick than what you might get at a Home Depot or Lowe's, but they are much, much cheaper.
