First off, it's a good little timer. It works just like it should and is convenient to use and store. The one big negative is, you cannot turn it off. You can stop the alarm from sounding, but to turn the unit off you have to remove the battery. After each use. What a pain! You can, of course, keep the battery in place, but the unit will run until the battery dies. If wasting batteries doesn't bother you, you'll love this unit. Except for that issue, it's a good timer.

The timer on the our microwave and range are not loud enough to hear them in the adjacent family room with the TV on. Bought this timer, and it does the job. Functions very well, and it is loud. Only problem with it is it's mechanical design. The strong magnet is centered in the back as needed, but there is no support behind the buttons. So using one hand, when you push the button the timer will tilt until it hits the microwave to stop it. Most of the time the magnet will break loose and the timer will fall. Not good! After seeing the problem, I added some shims behind the buttons so there is a hard stop when you press the buttons. I attached the shims with some good double sided tape. (However you attach the shims, just remember you will need access to the battery compartment in the future.) Now the timer is firmly attached to the microwave and there is no wiggle when the buttons are pressed. (Photos attached) They could have easily fixed this problem with shims of some sort, or by using two smaller magnets (instead of one large one) behind the buttons. Also, the magnet will probably break free from the plastic (poor glue). You can then use hot glue to reattach it (as I did). Other than the poor mechanical design, it functions great. Easy to use. Counts up or down. Subtracted one star because of their poor mechanical design.

Easy to set, easy to see, and perfect loudness - and small enough to not get in my way. Glad I ordered this.

i've had two of these timers for around 9 or 10 months now and I've learned to love them. They replaced two simple Habor timers that I'd had for years--and loved--before they died on me. At first, I couldn't figure out how to get to the battery case--because my eyes aren't good enough to see the little arrow on the case lid telling you to pull down. A friend showed me the way.Easy to use. Intuitive. Very strong, 1" x 1/2" magnet on the back. Fairly strong "chime" when the time is up. It could be lower-pitched for older folks, especially men, who often lose their high-pitch hearing ability, but that's not an issue for me.You can see in pictures Amazon has up off these timers the back of them. You will see that there's a way to pull out the plastic piece with the magnet in it, let down a small bracket that then "hooks" onto the back of the piece with the magnet in it. This allows you to set the timer up anywhere you might need it with it tilted for easier reading in certain lighting conditions or if you want to set it on a table or counter top.As I was typing this, and opening that function up, one of the tiny plastic tabs the small bracket is supposed to rest on fell off. No matter to me because the function still works. All in all, I recommend these timers for anyone. Oh, one more thing. The digital display is large enough to read even if you have elderly eyes like I do and haven't yet put my glasses on.

When I purchase kitchen alarms, I look for 3 things. Design, function, and price. For design, I wanted simple, clear, and large enough to see from far with right color matches ✅For function, I wanted counter clock timer and well built buttons. There was one more extra. For disclaimer out there, I didn’t know until I bought three different timers. That is the alarm sound. It loud enough not to irritate my ears with high peach sounds and deep enough to clearly notifying me the alarm. It’s Toyota sounds vs BMW sounds (I love both cars and owners of both). I don’t know if that helps ✅For price, I want all these features $15 or less ✅These are reasons why I bought this and there was one downside for me (this would’ve been 4-star but wait for it). The magnet was vertical so it was not strong enough for me so I had to put it on as stand (so cute). But the problem was for me it slipped too easily on my microwave oven. So I had to put slipper-proof sticker on below, not it perfectly does what I wanted. That’s why I give 5-star.Hope this helps some of you purchasing decision(s).Oh! One more thing. Have one of the most beautiful days ever 😁

Big figures, big buttons, nice design. The alarm is strong enough. No need to read the notice to operate. Very convenient AAA battery. Great product and best service from supplier.
