I got this exhaust cut out to use on my truck. Most people use these to have open exhaust for a reason. I am using it to go through a separate muffler. That way I can have one muffler that is super quiet and another one that is for performance and louder. That way I can be quiet with normal driving but I have performance available when I need. Install was very easy and typical. I have had no issues with it so far. I recommend this to anyone that needs to have either an open exhaust or to a secondary muffler set up.

The 2.5 Inch Electric Exhaust Cutout with Muffler by Peastorm, is a fun way to get that straight pipe sound at the push of a button. It’s solidly built with surprisingly good quality, a decent muffler and an easy to use remote controlled valve.The muffler appears to be of generic origin as far as I can tell and doesn’t have the beautiful tones of a name brand instrumental mufflers. However, if you don’t care about having a particular muffler sound and just need a generic muffle with these abilities, then this might be a great choice. I will say that for a generic muffler, it still sounds pretty good and beautiful as straight pips. The rest of the set-up including the welds and connections are actually really nice and should offer a good service life.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

I got this for my husband! He was very impressed by the quality immediately. It came very well packed and secured and everything was just as described in the ad down to the measurements. It came with all the correct pieces and parts. There were no parts missing and there was no damage to anything from delivery. After he got everything unboxed he was easily able to give this fully installed and set up on his vehicle where he wanted. This has really great sound quality and it sounds just like he hoped it would. No loud rattling sounds or any crazy Distortion from it. This definitely functions as it was intended to function and he said it was very user friendly. Definitely a great bang for your buck and you are getting exactly what you paid for. 10 out of 10
