We’ve had this for over a year. Worked decently for several months. But now, a couple of the spouts are leaking and won’t hold water. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and can’t find any issues with it but it’s still leaking and I cannot find replacement parts.

We have tried and spent a lot of money trying to find a waterer that works as advertised, this one does.

looks pretty cute as a way to do it but the price might be a high for actual sizing. They give you two sets of spouts in case you want to make your own to counter the extra cost of a metal one. Not sure of the advantages of metal but pretty cute!

I was optimistic when this product came out because I was looking for a stainless chicken water tank that would last and not let in sunlight to reduce algae growth. Unfortunately the quality of the tank is very poor with corrosion and flux residue in the seams. As soon as I filled it up the sides started to leak in multiple places. Even the cheap plastic cups, seals and other items did not work correctly and I have used the same type of items before with no issues. This looks promising in the pictures but the manufacturing is not good.

I love that the water tank is stainless steel, the design avoids a lot of water loss, so easy to clean, and it doesn’t leak. We used to use galvanized tanks that rusted, took more time to clean, and lost more water to evaporation and debris getting in the water tray. I was sure to use a rubber washer on both the inside and outside of each spout, and I have no leaks. So happy with this product!

I really like everything about this water feeder for my chickens. It’s strong and sturdy once setup and my girls love it too. I only gave it 4 stars because I wished the holding base for it was connected. When the tank is full it’s very heavy for me (I’m 5’6, 120lbs) to move, so it’s even harder to move it one handed while having to move the base separately with my other hand. Then I have to try a few times before getting the tank placed directly over the base to set it down. Problem would be solved if it were all one piece. Having said that, I’m sure there are instances where others might find it useful to not have the base connected. I’m just not one of them. 😊

I was hesitant to get this waterer because there weren’t any other reviews, but it was the only stainless steel waterer that I could find. I decided to try it out anyway and I’m pleased. Appears to be good quality and the chickens seem to like it. I like that it came with both cups and nipples so you have a choice which to use.Only issue is that 2 of the springs on the nipples were defective; one straight up didn’t work and the other is leaky. They are 10 cent parts and easily replaceable, but taking off a star for that because I didn’t see a way to contact the seller for replacement springs.
