The quality is very nice, I’ve used them for covering dough to proof. I’ll be testing them out soon for homemade baguettes. Will come back to update.

These have worked great especially for the price. My only compliant is I wish they were just slightly larger. Wash well too

These were not worth the price. They shrunk terribly when washed.

Good size towel for sourdough proofing. I also use them for masa dough when I make tortillas. Good quality.

Got this so I didn’t have to keep using kitchen towels over my bowls when proofing dough. Love that it’s a two pack, big enough to cover my bowl. Exactly what I needed.I don’t know if these would be big enough to do a large French roll, like the ad shows, but certainly a smaller sub roll.

I recently invested in the Professional Proofing Cloth for baking, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The cloth is thick and durable, providing excellent support for my dough as it rises. I primarily use it for French breads, baguettes, and ciabatta, and it’s been a game-changer in terms of shaping and proofing my loaves. The fabric has the perfect amount of texture to hold the dough without sticking, ensuring my bread maintains its shape during the final rise. It also provides an optimal environment for the dough to rise evenly, which has led to more consistent and higher-quality results. The heavy-duty construction of the proofing cloth is evident—it's sturdy enough to withstand regular use, yet flexible enough to easily fold or roll for storage. I particularly appreciate how well it holds up after multiple washes. The fabric doesn’t lose its shape or effectiveness, and it remains free from any strong odors or residues. The size of the cloth is ideal, allowing me to proof several loaves at once without feeling cramped. I also love the versatility; I’ve used it not only for baguettes but also for other types of bread that require a good proofing environment.Overall, the Professional Proofing Cloth is an essential tool for any home baker who enjoys making artisanal breads. It’s a quality product that makes the proofing process smoother and more efficient, resulting in better-textured and shaped loaves. If you're serious about homemade baking, I highly recommend this dough couche—it’s an investment that will elevate your bread-baking game and help you achieve professional-quality results.

The NEW NOAM Proofing Cloth works great for proofing bread or for once it's baked. Works as a liner or a cover for dough or baked bread. It's a good size for a medium bowl. The edges are stitched to prevent fraying.

The two pieces of heavy cotton (linen) have serged edges to prevent from fraying.I washed/dried and ironed the cloths prior to using and there was some shrinkage.Once washed the sizing is removed and they are not as stiff as pre-washing but they still work fine. After trying them out I personally find them too small for my use but they may work for someone doing smaller loaves.
