⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5 Stars)I purchased the 10" stainless steel piano hinges for a project, but unfortunately, both hinges were shorter than advertised, with one being so significantly undersized that it’s unusable for my intended purpose. It’s frustrating when precision is key for certain projects, and these hinges didn’t meet that standard.That said, the material quality seems solid, and I’m optimistic I can find a use for them elsewhere. I’ve already ordered the 12" set instead, intending to cut them down myself to ensure the correct length. If you’re relying on precise measurements straight out of the box, proceed with caution. Otherwise, the hinges might serve well for more forgiving applications.

I needed these for our garden shed windows. They are wider than most hinges in this size at 1” per side. They include matching screws that fit the recesses. These operate smoothly.

I have an assortment of piano hinges as they make it easy when fabrication workshop cabinets for jigs and supporting larger power tools. I will typically use these along with a gas strut to make the lids for these cabinets. These hinges will not be exposed to damp conditions but can experience moisture. Even though the hinge pins are not SS I should not have any trouble with these. The hinge metal is not clean and will need polishing if you are looking to use these for furniture. The tapered holes are even and consistent in depth.Cheers

While the hinge plates appear to be 604, the hinge pin is not. Given that, there's no way this will work in a marine environment where I'd hoped to use it. I included a picture of a magnet securely holding on the pin.

I needed a piano hinge for an electrical panel cover. There were not a lot of great options for the depth and strength that I was in need of. Ultimately I decided to settle on two 12 inch hinges to span the gap and keep things in line.The quality is good and I was able to drill some new mounting holes on one side to extend its mounting bracket even further. This kit is great and they work exactly as expected.
