Purchased 5 two counts of these 5 weeks ago. Two have already stopped working. I imagine the rest will go out soon, at which time a 1 star will be warranted.

My central AC broke and my house gets HOT. These work great to help control the heat/lighting for my snakes vivarium. The weather has been so hot that I've had to go down in watts and use these to control it further. They work great 👍🏻

This works exactly as described for me. Writing reviews for electronics is tough because they either work or they don't, haha! I haven't had any issues with these. They do the job perfectly.

These are actually bigger than i expected. The dial portion is hefty sized. I plugged it into my current light set up and tried the dimmer and it worked perfect. Went all the way bright, and all the way dim. You can stop the dial exactly where you want it. I really wanted something i could attach to the timer and during the day have the lights full blast, but at night, especially when its colder here, keep them on but low to keep heat in the area but on very low. (Leopard Gecko, so doesn't need uv lamps or very specific temps.) I realized that when attached to the timer, you cannot do that, because the timer just turns it off, as opposed to switching lamp settings. I know, seems obvious looking back.... Or at least the timer i have doesn't. I'll have to look into that further, but as far as the cords themselves, they work perfect as expected. Very short of course, but attached to the current lamp cords not an issue. The cords and plugs are thick, sturdy plastic-y material, well made/constructed. Very nice.

I couldn't get my basking temp quite right 25w was a bit too hot but I was worried buying lower wattage lamps wouldn't be warm enough. These dimmer switches did the trick! Easy to add on - you just plug the light to the dimmer cord then plug the dimmer into your timer. Easy-peasy! I did take a metallic marker and draw a line on the dial to make the setting easier to see but other than that these work perfectly!
