It took about 3 days before my 2 year old figured out how to work this lock. So it did not work for us, unfortunately.

My twins figured it out as soon as I installed it. If it were harder to open then it would be great, but it's simply too easy to pop the "lock" open. Don't recommend.

This looks great and we hardly notice it as it. We have to keep this switch on but wanted the option to turn off quickly in case we needed to. This fits the bill. It came in a two pack and I actually needed the 2nd one for another area of the house so it worked out great.
