I have found that inspection mirrors come in handy on many occasions. I was an aircraft maintainer in the Air Force for 22 years, and we had inspection mirrors in our tool boxes - so when I built my own tool set for home use, I made sure I had one of my own.I have a telescoping rigid rectangular inspection mirror - so here's what I compared with the 2 new ones in this package as opposed to the one I already had:The one I had was not flexible.Flexibility can come in handy, if the weight and flexibility does not end up causing the mirror to move from the weight of the mirror itself. The small round mirror I don't see that as being a problem, but the larger rectangular one that could be an issue.Mine was VERY lose wen I opened it up. I was able to find the right sized socket and screw driver and tighten it up - which helped out a lot, but I wasn't expecting to have to do that upon opening the the mirrors brand new. Over time, yes. - that's my "one note" about the mirrors. So, they don't telescope, they are as long as they are - which should be just fine, until it's not.I do consider the price of admission for 2 mirrors to be very reasonable - being able to see things around a corner is a very valuable thing when you are working on cars - in tight spaces, and well, those 2 instances just are blaringly obvious in my mind.

These mirrors hold their position well and function just as I'd expect them to! Five stars!

There’s two different mirrors but the spring and handle are the same. Rotate the head, adjust the spring (which is tight and holds its shape) and peer behind an obstruction or just get a different vantage point. Like dentistry for your car engine.

These inspection mirrors are well made, sturdy, and very clear. The mirrors are just large enough to be useful. Any smaller mirrors or handle length would not work very well. They bend and swivel to achieve just about any angle you need for your application.I can think of a lot of uses for these mirrors. But, at least one of the uses, saves my knees and back.I have a motorcycle that doesn't have a center stand and has a site glass for checking oil level -- a bad combination . The site glass is located at the very bottom of the crankcase. It is NOT possible to check the oil level without elevating the 600 pound MC or having someone hold the bike upright while another person gets down on their knees, or back, to be able to read the oil level. Using either of the included mirrors, I can sit on the bike, holding it upright, and position the mirror in front of the site glass, to get an accurate reading on the oil level. Very satisfied with this product.

I ordered this pair of inspection mirrors to have on hand for those times when you can't quite get your head and eyes where you need them to see what you are trying to see.The measurements of the mirrors and lengths of the bendable shafts are clearly shown on the product information page, but I was still surprised when these arrived because they are larger than I imagined based on past inspection mirrors I have owned. The rectangular mirror is the size of a credit card, and the round mirror is 2 inches in diameter. The larger size may be handy in some places while it may be limiting in other spaces that are too small for the mirror to fit.The overall quality of the construction is for light to medium duty use. They are perfect for use around the home or shop, but if you use them regularly and often, you may want something more industrial. The flexible shafts are easy to shape and hold their shape well.Overall, these are a good set of inspection mirrors that I am happy to add to my toolbox.

I did not have very high hopes for these mirrors when I ordered them. Although these mirrors are better than I expected, they are still not what I would think of as "high quality" tools. The flexible shafts are typical flex shafts, but they are of the cheaper variety. The crimps at the ends also seem a little weak. But the mirrors themselves are great and are larger than I expected. I have no complaints about the quality of the mirrors. Another minor gripe is that the square mirror was pretty loose when I got it and it would tend to flop around. Not a huge deal because it just required tightening the tiny nut on the clamp where the mirror attaches to the shaft. Hopefully it does not come loose frequently but for now it is fine.

These are strong and easy-to-flex handles, topped with high quality mirrors that deliver a sharp, clear view of hard to reach/hard to see places. At my age I’m not as limber as I used to be (don’t ask me to bend way over or get down and crawl on the floor), and I certainly don’t have the patience or energy to lift or move big pieces of furniture or appliances just to find a little screw that fell behind/beneath them. These two mirrors allow me to see exactly where I need to without being a contortion artist and locate whatever I may have lost.
