6063-T5 Aluminum alloy

Anodizing

Advantages of aluminum extrusion profiles

I purchased these to replace my existing table saw fence material that are wood pieces. The wooden cutting surfaces were not perfectly square, so these aluminum extruded product provide a perfectly square cutting edge. They are heavier than I expected, but they do provide absolutely straight surface. I'm happy with the product for my application.

They were shipped amazingly, and arrived in the size I ordered without damage or bending. My only complaint would be the metal chips that came with it - in the circular parts of the extrusions. I know it's a hazard of cutting metal, but would have been nice to put a blast of air through the holes to purge them - it's definitely not enough to remove a star. I'll definitely come back to this seller when I need more in the future.

I used this as a fence on my miniature router table. I didn't fully read the description that they were Euro T-tracks. I had to machine my 1-1/2" 1/4"-20 T bolts to fit into the tracks. Took a few minutes. Machined a slot in the center bottom for the router bit and clamped to my table. Clamped 90 degree brackets to the back with a 1-1/4" 3D printed vacuum hose adapter. Works great for a sturdy smooth table fence.

I actually bought this to make a new fence for my DeWalt table saw because my stock one was bent. Works great and now I can use t slot brackets if I want to. Is perfectly straight and I have no issues with the quality
