To be honest, I have not used it yet, so I cannot provided good accurate feedback, so I will update another feedback after I used it. However, by looking at the description, looks like it will be helpful when working with siding.

Firstly, these seem to be the same thing as gekco gauges, which are quite a bit more expensive... You can adjust the siding reveal between 4" and 8" in 1/4" increments. I know they're really meant for installing cement board siding but I wanted to see if I could use them to install cedar siding... You can do it, and it does speed things up, but you have to loosen the plate that slides behind the siding and put washers in there so they will go over the thicker material, then, because wood siding is face nailed, you have to only loosely install the nails until you've done the row above... For me, this is fine as I like to line all the nails up with a laser level when I'm done getting the siding installed.

I used these to put up a 20 foot wall, and they did a pretty good job. They need one minor modification to fix the levers slipping. To fix them, add an elastic hair tie around the height adjustment screw, and stretch it over the lever once installed so the lever doesn't slip down.Even with this mod, these do require a bit of care to use. It is easy to set the board down too hard, and they will slip a bit. Lots of double checking to properly seat them, and make sure they haven't moved.I drilled all my cement-fiber clap board so being able to set the board in place was super handy. They were also useful for double checking cut-outs since it is pretty easy to fine tune positioning. The plastic construction is a good choice so you don't mar the face of your boards. They seem reasonably well built, but probably aren't up to just being tossed into a tool box. I would treat them gently like levels or squares that you don't want getting torn up.

This instrument facilitated the replacement of some damaged siding. It is user-friendly and adaptable to accommodate various dimensions of siding slats. The cost of this tool is highly competitive. This tool is particularly beneficial for individuals who do not frequently engage in such tasks.
