I was only using the standard filter for my Brita pitcher, and tried this 'Elite equivalent' version.First thing I noticed was, it is smaller than the standard version.I thought it has less filter material, but found the real Elite filter was also smaller than the standard version, so I think it is normal.Water taste seems to be the same.Or, it is better but I just couldn't notice. One thing to note is, the water flow was very slow, compared to the standard version. As I haven't tried the real Elite version, I cannot compare to that. But usually more filteration means less flow, so I think this is normal. So, at the end, I like this. But considering the price difference between the real Brita Elite and this one is not that big (about 15%), I am not sure I'd buy this again.

The fit our filter the same way as the Brita ones, and no one noticed any difference in the water taste or smell, which would happen immediately if the filter did not work. The only 'but' is that it takes a bit longer to fill the filter.

These filters fit my pitcher well. There's no leak-by, and the water tastes just as good as water from the OEM filter. The filters are not as tall, so there's either less filter material, or it's more densely packed. I'm guessing the latter because the flow rate is noticeably slower than OEM filters. This is a minor annoyance at best. The only concern that I can't speak to yet is potential longevity of the filter. In my opinion, if they don't last the suggested six months they're a bit overpriced.

Has functioned as well as a brand name filter replacement for my pitcher with no noticeable change in taste; as to how long it'll function I can't say but it's going strong after a good dozen refills so far.

I have extremely mineralized hard water in my town, so I have used a Brita water pitcher to purify drinking water for years. I regularly switch out the Brita filters in my pitcher. This company calls their product this online: "2-PACK Water Filter, Replacement for Brita Elite Water Filter, Compatible with Brita Water Pitchers."The filters do indeed fit in and work with my Brita pitcher. The water tastes clean and purified like it did with my Brita brand name filters, so I'm thinking this company's filters are going to work just fine for my needs in my Brita pitcher.

I really couldn't see, smell or taste the difference between these and other less expensive filters. The description says "no pre soaking required" but it also says to "discard the first three fills". Where's the benefit there? The box also says "enhanced flow rate" but took over 20 minutes to fill my pitcher, twice as long as the OEM filter. These are notably lighter than the OEM filters, which leads me to believe they contain less filtration material. At the current price of over $12 per filter, theses cost twice as much as comparable replacement filters.
