I purchased these to use oil and wax on my wooden cutting board. They worked more effectively than using a rag, which typically just soaks up the oil. I was able to evenly distribute oil on the wood without getting soaked up into the sponge. After use I was able to rinse out and dry the sponge. It has remained in perfect condition after multiple uses.

We are new to the Cutting Board oil craze. My husband uses his wood cutting board every night for dinner now. I oil up his board every week. Was using microfiber cloth towels each time. They just soak up the oil. Found these, LOVE THEM! I can use just a tiny drop of oil now and these do not soak up any of it. Very smooth material. Wooden handle is very easy to grip.

I am replacing all my plastic cutting boards with wood and just bought a Teakhaus end cut chopping block so I can chop meat with a cleaver. Directions say to oil the board and since I was doing it, I also did all my other wooden boards including a serving/carving board and a knife block that was drying out and showing its age. This Debetool worked perfectly, and even got into the crevices of the knife block and the hand holds of the chopping boards. I wore vinyl gloves while working with this tool and a microfiber cloth to wipe off and buff the wood after an overnight dry. Very pleased with results.

These brushes are not brushes. They are sponges with a wooden handle. I did not realize that when I ordered, but using them it's not so bad so I won't deduct a star (for what was likely my lack of reading comprehension). They spread the mineral oil well, I would buy them again and recommend them to people looking for a mineral oil applicator.

I bought the (2 pack) cutting board oil applicator or dauber if you will. I placed both applicators in their own little glass jars with lids to keep them clean and ready for reuse. One in cutting board oil and the other in cutting board conditioner. I constantly use my cutting boards so I like having the convenience of keeping these applicators at the ready for a quick application after cleaning my cutting boards 2-3 times. They seem to be holding up well thus far and I’m loving the convenience! I’d recommend these applicators to everyone and I have been telling my family and friends about how much I love these applicators. I’m not sure how they’ll last before the material breaks down but so far so good after a month and a half of use. Works great on bamboo or wooden cooking utensils as well!
