It's more difficult to clean than the last brand I bought (seemingly no longer available.) Even when this porch light zapper has been turned off for 30 min or more and is unplugged from the light socket, their is still power in it. It does a good job of attracting and killing insects, so it's often full. Unfortunately, the little brush included is not long or strong enough to clean adequately. I used to use pipe cleaners in the other grand, which works great, but if you do with these you will get zapped! I was able to find some cheap plastic paint brushes for kids at Walmart that works alright. Only use plastic!

These look nice and durable. Put on the patio, have a regular style bug zapper out there as well. It caught 2 bugs over night whereas the regular one caught over 50 bugs. Also tried without the regular one and still didn’t work. Returned.

This item is sooo good that it eliminates a bunch of other things not needed anymore due to its dual functionality. Bright lightbulb but I feel like the Black light feature is not bright enough...kinda weak. It DID do its job because about 5-7 days later I decided to unscrew the lightbulb and check it out...WOW!!! Different types of bugs collected and a lot. Should have waited 2 or even 4 weeks.

I bought a couple of these to get rid of the fruit fly's that seem to show up in the house. They have a regular light that works just like a regular bulb, and you can also run the bug light at the same time, or all by itself. These things are great for all those pesky little nats and such that get in the house. I bought several of these. The first one lasted for over a year and a half.

We bought these for the front and back doors to our house. They work really well at killing the bugs that try to come in those doors. The regular light that shines is bright enough to illuminate the backyard. well enough we can come from our vehicles up the stairs without tripping over anything. It was really easy to install because it uses the existing lightbulb socket. Which makes the design easier to install as well. It’s not noisy like other bug zapper are unless a bug actually gets in there and gets zapped. Overall, definitely worth the purchase.

Pusimos uno en nuestra recámara, van dos noches dándose los zancudos un festín con nosotros y ni uno ha caído en el foco.El otro lo colocamos en el jardín donde está infestado de zancudos y en estos días solo un insecto incauto cayó.Así que, o los zancudos ya superaron su amor milenario por la luz o estos focos simplemente no sirven, pero cualquiera que sea la razón, les recomiendo que no gasten su dinero en este producto.
