Bought two of these digital meters. Both proved to be displaying the voltages/amps exactly identical, so that proved to be a good quality test for me. Would buy again.

Diagram doesnt show the right colors and positive, negative poles. Chances to burn it

Tried wiring like both examples shown and the ammeter doesn’t work either way. Confirmed draw with a multimeter. Tried the other of the two pack and same deal. Wired as shown. Ammeter doesn’t work. I’m not sure how it would. You typically have to either wire an ammeter in series or use a shunt. The schematic shown makes no sense.

At least it has the type of hardware and traces on the board to handle 10 amps. I am not pushing it that hard, but at 4 - 6 amps working fine.

I couldn't use this because the small black wire is common with the 2 'amps' wires. My 0 to 60V variable power supply doesn't share the ground with an available internal 5V supply. (I can't use the supply's output because it adjusts down to 0V. It needs at least 4V.)A short between the supply's internal ground and the output ground causes the supply's overcurrent fault to trip (function of it regulator). So I ended up adding a very small USB supply inside the power supply enclosure for the small red and black wires. Then tied Yellow to pos output, 'Amps wires' in series with the output's ground.Current and voltage work fine now. Nice colors.

Took a bit of guessing but I am tech savvy so no biggie. Works great nice and bright display and accurate!

Small and functional. The one I tested first worked just as advertised and seems to be close on accuracy. Voltage reading of my supply for general use measured 11.6 volts d.c. and my old but useful elenco meter showed the voltage reading at 11.75. close enough for my application. If I was needing dead on reading I would not be using either. Amperage reading was actually closer and not off by more than.002. it doesn't read that low but that was the difference between it and the elenco. Just going to be used as a reference check on external and internal battery voltage and pull down for different voltage modes. As with all other panel mounts this one could make use of a angled bezel in my application. As it'll be low it being tilted upwards will benefit my needs. This part has no bearing on the 4 stars. 4 stars until I know it's a good holdup in use.Still nice. Beets ME having to build it for sure.
