A little flimsy however nice and long and priced right. They work fine otherwise.

The connectors are two thick to fit down in my field piece. Had to sand them down some to get them to fit. They read temps correctly on my meter. I've used 2 of 5 and they have held up to being tossed around in a tool bag for 2 months. Not for high temps. Insulation with burn off. I've used them to verify oven chamber temp up to 400f seems fine, do not use on an open flame. Price is reasonable.

I ordered this thinking it was my thermocouple that was broken, but when using these gave the same readings, it was evident that I was wrong. I worked with the seller to send them back, and they worked with me on it even though it was entirely my mistake.Great seller! Will work with again in the future, for sure.

Calibrated 10 of these in boiling and ice water. All seemed to be within a degree of correct temperature.Good enough for my purposes.A couple have weld beads that look slightly crusty and might be a bit more prone to breaking than they ought to be.All in all, a pretty good value.

I'm unable to rate thoroughly because I've only used one out of the five thermocouples. I'm happy with the one I used but cannot of course, rate its accuracy since I do not have a calibrated instrument to compare it to. I used it to check if it works by placing it in the oven while my wife was baking at 375 deg F according to the digital readout on the oven's temperature control. While the temperature on the oven's console was set at 375, the temperature on my Fluke using this thermocouple varied from 370 to 380, definitely within range. At times, it read as high as 400 deg F and that was when the heating coil went on to raise the temp after the oven allows it to cool down to around 360. I was happy to find out that heating coil no longer goes on when there is about 4.5 minutes left on the timer. Cooking will continue using residual heat and just float down till the timer goes to zero. Nice energy saver feature.

It can be used to replace the k-thermocouple that comes with the Rex C100 PID controller, if the connector is disassembled (all screws). My application required a longer k-thermocouple than what came with the controller. I decided to take the gamble, as they are sold 5 to a package, Checked the accuracy as modified and it did not seem to alter it. I will set the upper limit of the controller 1-2 degrees lower until I can establish that it will maintain temps as modified.
