A multi-purpose distance tool like this is nice for use at home and work depending on your job, it does take a little getting used to for how to cycle it through the modes it comes with but i've got it now.-Decently versatile-Good battery life-Distance reader is surprisingly accurate-Clips onto a belt nicely-Screen is kinda small, i can read it fine but some of my older coworkers have difficulty

This tool has been a lifesaver, especially for measuring my 20FT high living room from floor to ceiling. The combination of a laser measure and a 16FT self-locking tape makes it incredibly versatile. The laser is quick and accurate, and the area and volume calculation features have made estimating room sizes so much easier. I even tested it under direct sunlight, and it worked well for distances over 50FT, which was a pleasant surprise. I never thought it'd be that accurate. The USB-C charging is great as there's no more dealing with batteries. The ability to switch between units is really convenient as previously I had to keep using my phone to convert numbers. It takes a little time to get familiar with all the functions, but once you do, it’s a game-changer. This has quickly become one of my favorite tools and since I'm redecorating my home, I carry it everywhere I go.

Honestly not a bad tool to add to the collection. I did have some issues at first with the laser showing different measurements when in the exact same spot, at the same target but after charging it again once that seemed to have gone away. Overall fairly happy with it just worried about how accurate it will be on lower battery levels.

I have been wanting to get one of these laser measurers for a while, but I didn't know if they were worth the price. But considering the last tape measure that I bought was $12, this is pretty reasonable. The instructions are intuitive. Hit the red measure button to turn it on and again to take the measurement. It will then display the measurement on the side and you can continue to take measurements and each one will be listed on the side which is very convenient. To turn it off, long press the clear button. This is incredibly handy for measuring rooms and other spaces where it's hard to get the tape measure to lay flat and find clearance to make it all the way across the room. But, it also has a traditional tape measure. So if you want to see something with your own eyes, you still have that option. And it's all very light weight.I just finished foundation work in the basement, and I needed some measurements to order rugs. I was done measuring in 5 minutes! It would have been a huge pain to use a regular tape measure for something so simple as measuring a long room.

I've used this for a couple projects around the house, and it's quickly become my go-to measuring tool. The combination of a laser and a traditional tape measure makes it super convenient for all kinds of projects. The laser is accurate and saves me a ton of time when measuring longer distances, while the tape measure feels sturdy (for what it is, it's not a Milwaukee obviously) and locks well. Charging via USB-C is a great help since I'm hurting for batteries! My only minor gripe is that the instructions could be clearer, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a fantastic tool.

This tape measure is awesome! The laser meter is accurate inside of an inch, and the various measuring modes are useful and reliable. The tape measure itself is fairly stiff, but it's no Stanley Fatmax; don't over extend it, expecting it to stay straight. The display is easy to read, but I only wish it were mounted on the top, rather than on the side. When I lie this thing on the ground to take measurements, it's hard to read, unless I lie it on its side, which compromises the stability, due to the clip.Aside from the display location, I really like this tape measure. It's hefty and accurate. What more do you need?

This is a cool gadget that we had to try out, and it works great. There was a learning curve to using the laser, but once you read the instructions, it's pretty straight forward. The tape slides out the tiniest bit bumpy, but the button to retract it is powerful and works perfectly. Overall, we are happy with this to help with our DIY projects.

It's accurate. I tested it by using the tape along with the laser measure (see photo), and both read exactly 5'0". You do need to make sure you know where you want to take the measurement (from the front of the tape measure or the back. The little symbol in the upper right hand corner can flip between the little "chip" on the top of the box in front to the back by pressing the "Unit key", so from the back add 3 inches to the digital reading. Bring your reading glasses as the 1/8" measurement display is very small. You may get an ER255 or ER256 once and a while, this means the laser has poor (ER255), or too strong (reflective services ER256). Found nowhere in the instructions! Had to do an internet search.Down side: There is no manual, so given the one page directions included with the tape measure (see picture 2). All I seem able to do to calculate area & Volume is get the distance from the box, and moving the laser from one end to the other does not seem to work, so I gave up. I also could not find a website or video that describes how to make this function work. The directions were clearly not written by and English speaking author, even the description of what each of the keys does make no sense. The retract tape button instruction is the same as the extract instruction on the bottom, a good clue the rest of it will not serve you well. The marking on the physical tape measure are not really usefull, don't understand why after 1 foot, they start to mark out 1-1 at the 1 1/2" mark? I assume this means the next inch after 12" is 1 foot 1 inch (1-1).Very light, not sure it will hold up over time, which is why I have so many tape measures, and wanted to try this one.
