Received 10 and visually inspected and they look good. Well packed and they all have a blob of protection on the ball end.I removed that blob from one of them and it fitted well in my pen.The original refill in the pen was still not empty so I compared the original with this new one. I could not distinguish the difference in writing my looking at it on the paper.However this new refill feels much smoother. I was tempted to throw away the original and keep using this new one but hate to waste things.Assuming the other 9 are like the one I tested I am very happy.

I have an older Yafa Poquito pen that came with a leather notepad. Together, they are a very convenient way to take notes and/or use as a grocery list. When the pen refill ran dry, I was told to pull the refill out of the plastic piece used to screw in the refill, then replace the refill using a Schmidt D1 refill. I had been using the Schmidt refills, but was always apprehensive about losing or breaking the plastic piece. When I saw these refills listed on Amazon I thought I would give them a try. They fit perfectly and write similar to the original Schmidt refills.
