This rice dispenser actually holds a 25 pound bag of rice. There are some other ones that say they do but they only hold about 24 1/2 pounds. I learned this the hard way. Nice, thin design, only uses a small footprint on your counter, or in your pantry. Love love, love it.

It does the job of storing rice and dispenses with a push of a button. There isn’t a definite way to measure. I keep a small measuring cup in the catch tray. The lid is not airtight, it is more like the cheap plasticware that leftovers are kept in. I put bay leaves in the top compartment (have to make sure it is closed and one reason it is not airtight). Fits a 25 pound bag of rice.As I was writing this review, I noticed the container has expanded and there is a tiny space between the window and container on the bottom left corner. I don’t know if it will be able to accommodate another 25 pound bag of rice. I may have to glue it before then.

The container allows me to keep my 20 pound bags of rice off the floor. Push the button measures perfect portions. Sometimes you have to shake it to even out but not much

Does its job, the only flaw is the top lid doesn’t hard seal and is looser than I’d like but it stays. Nice to just click and grab as much rice as I need!

OMG this thing is a beast but finally I don’t have rice bags flopping around my pantry!! It does bow out a bit of you fill out to the tippy top but I was able to fit 28 pounds of rice and still got the top on with some finangaling 🤣 I waited until I used it a few times to write a review but I’ve got no complaints so far!! Takes about 30 seconds to dispense 2 cups of rice!! So easy my 6&4 year old could do it!! You don’t know you need this until you have it!! It’s completely closed system so no risk of dust or bugs getting in!!! If you eat rice at all, this is the storage system for you!! I planned on putting it in a cabinet but it’s too heavy and I love the look it gives my counter!! So clean and crisp!!

I spent a lot of time researching different rice dispensers to get exactly what I needed. overall what sold me was the fact the cup fit inside the dispenser perfectly vs being loose. It fits exactly where I needed it in my cabinet and is easy to use. My child is in charge of getting rice when cooking. The only things I would change is to have measuring indicators on the front of the cup when your filling you have a idea of how much your pouring but it isn’t a deal breaker. Also I had some trouble getting the lid on but once It closed properly I was good to go.

Having a large family, I wish I had found this sooner. After years of lugging a rice bag around the kitchen, and constantly searching for a measuring cup, I finally found THE perfect rice dispenser. I was on the fence about others and they sat around in the old Amazon cart for months but believe me, this is the one. It's tall and holds a ton so check the dimensions. It operates very smoothly and looks great. The rice flows out nicely which makes it a pleasure when getting a precise amount and, it looks as good as it operates. Additionally, the lid seals up perfectly for peace of mind. All in all, the quality, smooth operation and aesthetics made it an easy decision for me to justify the extra $15-$25 dollars compared to other choices.
