This handles a very large amount of cereal. It has a nice indentation at the “ grab point” to pick up the large container. It has wonderful seals so that the cereal remains fresh.

The picture is deceptive. It shows clear plastic storage. These are not clear. You can see through the cloudy white plastic, but they are not the pretty and transparent clear shown on the product page.Also, the lids require some fidgeting to get them to seat right so the latches can snap on. The latches also are difficult to open and close. You want an airtight seal. You also want the lid to stay latched when pouring the contents through the spout. But this seems like over-kill. There are four latches, one on each side. The latches on the long sides of the lid each have 3 tabs underneath which snap onto the ridges on the container. However, it requires some pressure to snap them on and considerable more force to un-snap them. I broke a nail trying to open the side flaps. This may not be a problem for most people, but I got these for someone who happens to have arthritis. She would not be able to work the lids.The narrow end of the container does provide a convenient hand-hold, but it is still quite large. This would be difficult for people with small hands or dexterity issues with their hands. It also probably is best used with lighter items like cereal.I gave it three stars because it does work, but its functionality is not ideal and the appearance is NOT what was advertised.

These are the perfect containers for the larger cereal boxes. Even when filling with the 28oz ‘Mega’ boxes from the store there is plenty of leftover room and they easily fit on any of my pantry shelves.

I liked the quality and size of these but I have an issue with the pouring. The place the whole is centered makes it difficult for my apple jacks to come out when the container is full.

First, let me say these work great for their purpose. I store cereal in them and they fit the largest family-sized box easily. The plastic arrived clear with no scratches. They are completely airtight and the clips ensure a strong close. I dropped one from waist height by accident and nothing happened so I’d give it a 10 for utility. I did notice that the lid was difficult to close at first and the clips would lock but my husband pointed out that the lid is ever so slightly smaller on the side opposite the spout. It wasn’t even noticeable to me. Once I turned the lid 180 degrees, it snapped right into place. My only complaint is when you wash them, water gets caught under the seal inside the lid. You have to make sure to leave it drying FOREVER. still worth the buy. I recommend
