In all honesty, I ordered these as a “maybe I’ll need them someday” kind of thing. I’ve never owned crampons and only needed them once before. But I have to tell you, we had freezing rain yesterday and I am up in the mountains…I am so glad I threw these in the car. I literally would not be able to stand up or walk around outside on the 1” thick ice. These saved my a$$. They are pretty aggressive, more so than the hiking crampons I used before, but they work. They also fit my US size 10 hiking shoes just fine. I already had to do a little repair on one of the links, but I can’t really complain. I wouldn’t trust these for a hike up Everest, but I’m very glad I got them, and I think they are worth the price, just in case you need them. MVP of the weekend.

Good for climbing snow capped mountains, not afraid of slipping
