First off, the listing says the candle holders are, "made of iron, sturdy and strong;". Not really. They are made of very thin sheet steel. And not sturdy. Easily bent. Which was okay since one of the holders was not assembled properly. Easy enough to bend the parts around to get them to go together. The first candle melted through it's side and filled the candle holder partial full of wax. So that holder is not of much valve now. I don't know if I will take the time to clean up that problem. To fix something that is made so cheaply. I think this was not the candle's problem as much as the holder. It didn't hold the candle really straight. I adjusted the remaining holder and it is more stable now. I lit another candle and put it in a nice glass tea candle holder and that candle burned properly and lasted longer than 4 hours. So my feeling is the candle holders don't have a lot of valve. But, the candles are good quality and last a long time.

These candles are nice to have! Great for a power outage or a wedding for centerpieces! They are slow burning and scent free. The lanterns are nice and easy to assemble . Worth the value
