I don't know anything about wall climbing, rock climbing etc but these look/feel to be decent quality. The bolts are 2" long and the holds are on the smaller side of what I see the kids using on various kids climbing walls around the area, so these are probably better to augment a bigger set or fill in gaps, as opposed to being useful for kids right on their own.

I installed this on our tree . I'm going outside of their original purpose for it, for now. Just used some decking screws instead of theirs. It seems that some are better to step on, and some are better to grip. The material seemed strong and comfortable, specially for my little kid. I wouldn't trust the screw that I put in without a washer for my weight (230 pounds), but the material with the proper screws that came in, I believe it would not be a problem. It comes with machine threaded screws, and the hardware it gets screwed in. You would have to drill holes for it. It comes with an Allen wrench.I liked it so much, I ordered another bag .

This is a great set. My 6-year-old just started climbing recently and we're building a wall at home. These holds have excellent grip for little hands. They also have enough coming away from the wall to be good foot holds. The hardware used to mount them is high quality and very sturdy. I have no worries about my wall and my kiddo loves climbing on it.

These went up great in our climbing wall and were easy to install but did not have enough hardware for all of the hand holds. I ended up spending as much money on replacement hardware at the hardware store as I did for the kit so that's an interesting tidbit. I was short by 6 sets of hardware which is annoying. I did not contact the company for replacements because I was in the middle of setup and wanted to get it done that day - who wants to stop and wait a week or two to finish up, assuming the company even helps to get the replacement hardware? So I don't know if they would have helped with that in all fairness. The holds are great for the kids to use and the kit had enough to do a 10 foot by 4 foot wall.

These appear to be made from a good quality material and it came with all of the necessary parts for installation. We ordered this to replace a few climbing holds that had broken off our play equipment. These are a good size in comparison. We like the variety of colors and shapes. Only down side is that we would have preferred a few more, so we will have to order a second set.

Used these as handholds so my kids could get up into trees they couldn't climb before. I drilled a few into the tree and suddenly getting up to that first 5' branch is no trouble for them and they love to climb! I can't wait to install a few on the next tree in the spring, or maybe build a climbing wall for the kids that takes them over our fence into the greenbelt to play catch. They are strong and durable but will accumulate grime during outdoor use. Easy to install, a good size for kid hands but not too small for an adult to use either.
