We've had it plugged into our Ring camera for about a week now and seems to be working just as advertised. Exactly what we needed since our Solar Panel doesn't get enough sun in the winter months and can't keep up.

living in Wisconsin where the temperature can get below zero for days, stops my security camera batteries from working. So I bought this cord designed to work with my cameras. I was thrilled to have these cords, that simply plug into an outlet and the cameras are up and running again. It is a strong cord, a long length to go down the side of the house to an outlet. My cameras are by my rain gutters, so I simply stuck the cord next to the gutter, out of sight.

well, i ran the wire to my ring spotlight cam battery pro & it seems to be working BUT in the app it has a constant alert symbol that is stating “power has stopped.” or something close to that. in essence, even though the cable is working as it should & charging the battery & giving constant power, the app doesn’t think so, so it’s giving an alert to switch back to battery mode from wired mode. i liked wired mode as it has more options available. we’ll see how it goes…

I got this for a Ring camera that is mounted outside. This is my 3rd power adapter for this camera so obviously the connection is not as waterproof as they say it is. This time I mounted a cover over the camera so hopefully that will take care of the problem. This one fits into the camera just as well. Nice long cord to give you plenty of mounting options. Good value.

I have many a Ring cameras, but I bought this for something else... I have these solar candy cane lights for Xmas, but we just don't get enough sun during winter. The energy source can be brought in to charge, using a USB-C cord. It ended up being some days I would have it lit, and other days they're just out.I bought this cord because it is massively long, it's waterproof, and it does not have to be used for just Ring cameras. It does have a lovely adapter for the older models, tacks to tuck in the cord, and a wall adapter!Another reason I bought this is because it is FLAT. My house does not have an outdoor outlet in the front, so I have to run it through the front door. The flatness of the cord helps! I'm also using a powerbank to charge the lights.

This attaches to the back of the camera beautifully. I tested without a battery in the camera and the results were phenomenal. The only challenge I had was with the other end of the charging cable. It has a standard USB plug, but no adapter for a typical outdoor wall-outlet. Adding an adapter is just a little problematic for me because it isn't waterproof, and the adapter makes the charging cable stick out further than the covered outlet can hold and close. Now, the cable is very long and very flat, until I noodle this out, I'll run it through a window and plug it in inside. The cable is flat enough for my window to close without damage. PERFECT for indoor use.
