Your cart is empty. A water level probe in an ice machine monitorshow high the water level gets. When enough water enters the trough to reach thewater level probe, the probe sends a signal to the control board. This signalshuts off the water inlet valve to prevent the machine from overflowing.Replacing the probe on your commercial ice machine can fix machines that failto produce ice. Since other faulty parts can cause the same problem, you shouldcheck your existing probe to see if it’s dirty or broken before replacing it.

The sensor only lasted 5 months before it started messing up. It would show that the water level was at the proper level when it was not so would not fill up with water.

Even if you clean one of these, sometimes they just don't quite work well. Most of the time they feel rough because they are porous, not just calcified- you'll never get it to be perfect. For the money, CHANGE IT!!

Installed on Manitowoc 420 ice machine. Exact fit and works perfectly. Fixed the issue with filling/refilling trough. This works when water touches the sensor, it then shuts off water supply to trough. Highly recommend this after market item that works exactly like the original.
