This grinder works well, but it can sure spray meat further than just the bowl you'd put in front of it.

Received product and washed in warm soapy water prior to using. Assembled according to directions/diagram and turned on. Worked well, auger spinning freely and a little noisy. Took a strip of meat 0.8"x0.8"x6" and dropped into grinder. The auger grabbed the meat and started grinding the meat for ~4 seconds and then the retainer ring came off and the large grinding plate and cutting blade pushed out. I cleaned out the grinder and reassembled making sure the retainer ring was tight and secure. Put another strip of meat in and observed the ring pushing straight off (not unscrewing). Repeated a third time trying to hold on the ring and it still pushed off. This unit looked new with no damage to the threads so it seems like a poor design where the threads do not interlock properly. My guess is that if the retaining collar would have stayed on, this unit may have worked quite well (1st 2 Tbs of meat ground well).

First off, i like the power this thing has , I love how it performs. But I would not recommend as it leaves metal shavings in the meat . And not just a little.

I used this to make ground burger. It was great. It did get warm after running it awhile. I did shut it off inbetween grinding larger to smaller so it would not get too warm.This was a first time using it and I put it up. I can only hope that it works as well next times that I use it.I did have a hard time putting the grinder on the machine. Once I figured it out it wasn't so bad.

The very beautiful and shiny worktop seemed to be made of stainless steel when purchased. After the first wash, the glossy paint has left some smudges. I think this is some kind of harmful chemical applied for beauty. It would be better if they did not apply this fake layer, but left the natural aluminum as it is.Now I have a dilemma: Should I wash it in the dishwasher a few more times until I wash off this chemical paint or should I return the product to the supplier as a fraud? However, the mechanisms work well and are of high quality. It processes meat into minced meat perfectly. In general, I will probably choose the second option - I will wash this paint in the dishwasher. I think I'll wash it off a few times. Please: tell the manufacturer that let him fine that "brilliant" engineer who came up with the idea to paint meat grinders.

For years now I have been making my own ground meats. Used expensive machines and cheap ones. Most of the cheap ones are extremely noisy as hell to the point you need ear plugs. This particular machine is not that bad. Loud yes, but less than my old one.The drive connection on this one is easier, faster and stable. The old one wobbled and was held in with a cross bolt, not good.The overall tolerances for fit and finish are very good. With enough power to grind through the tuff stuff and only slow a little. I just went through 30 pounds of pork shoulder with ease. A great matching for the money!

I decide to buy a meat grinder because I wanted to make quality burger for my son. I really don't know what is meat in the store when I buy burger. I bought that grinder and Im so happy with my order. The price is nice .Is it very easy to set up and clean the grinder and I used. Work very fast and safe. Only for 2-3 minutes I made great grounded met. I mixed 3 different tape of met . Chicken, pork and beef. So I made a great quality burger for my son.Recommended!
