I recently ordered 250 red wigglers, and I'm thrilled with my purchase! The worms arrived quickly and in excellent condition – lively and wriggling, ready to get to work in my compost bin. I was a little apprehensive about the whole process, as this was my first time ordering worms online, but the experience was surprisingly easy. The included instructions were incredibly clear and helpful. Not only did they provide step-by-step guidance on how to introduce the worms to their new home, but they also explained the reasoning behind each step. This was a huge plus for me, as understanding the "why" made me feel much more confident in setting up my composting system. I highly recommend this seller and their wiggly little helpers!

The package arrived totally dried out and smelling. After opening a dumping the bag and using some water , I found 4 barley live ones out of 250 .Very unhappy, not worth the money and time. No stars if it would be me.

I was really happy with my order and my worms seemed very healthy. I put them on the indoor worm bed I created, after following instructions to water them a bit; within a few minutes, they had moved down out of the light, untangling themselves, and are probably down there resting before they take a bit of the foodstuff I provided. What I was really happy with, was the explanation about the worms and worm behaviors, which was very clear. Thank you so much!

These are the best, healthiest worms I have ever purchased. They’ve been helping my compost for about two weeks now and are still pink and viable. The worms came with a very sweet care manual and made me feel that they were truly raised with love, as every creature deserves.

This purchase was great! I bought them for 2 reasons, 1st to raise and compost 2nd try feeding very small worms to my glo fish. I'm very impressed how active all the worms were, considering they traveled back and forth before they got to me. There is an awesome mix of bigger and smaller ones. The description is absolutely correct. I would recommend this business to everyone! I will be using them again!

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰(4 out of 5 stars)Starting off, I have no intention of discouraging potential buyers. Truly, for those on the hunt for a budget-friendly worm option on Amazon, this product stands out. I got exactly what was advertised: red wiggler worms. What's more, the package was complete with user-friendly instructions, promotional materials, and clear disclaimers, reflecting their excellent customer service. However, for those who, like me, who are keen to attention to details, especially when it comes to living creatures you're caring for there's something worth noting. The selection of Peat Moss as the medium caught my attention. Given the pH sensitivity of worms, Peat Moss, known for its naturally high pH, may not be the optimal medium. While I see the economic reasoning behind this choice, especially when offering a larger quantity of worms than many competitors, it's something to be cautious about. If you're okay with including some peat moss in your worm bin, then this might work for you. I considered transitioning my worms to a different medium, before adding it to my own blend, but given their delicate state upon arrival, I opted against potentially stressing them further. TO BE FAIR, IT IS LIKE A HANDFUL OF PEAT MOSS.For enthusiasts keen on making their worm farm, my go-to blend would be coco coir, either perlite or vermiculite, a small amount of well-aged compost, and regular potting soil. These components form an excellent base for worm bins.

This is the first time I've written a product review on Amazon. But this product was literally filled with worms and dirt! I opened the bag and 250 wiggly worms fell out! I counted them. Which was hard because they kept moving around trying to dig into my compost bed.I gave a 5 stars on assembly instructions because, THANKFULLY, the worms were already assembled. I didn't know you could buy disassembled worms but trust me, fully assembled worms is the way to go here..10 a worm is fair since he had to get them trained enough to get into the bag and I imagine worm trainers need a living wage. I had no idea that in 2nd grade running around throwing worms at the girls in my class for fun I was literally showering them with dimes worth of worms! And they gave ME detention! Can you believe it.Anyway, so I checked in on the worms in the pile and could only find a few of them but the ones I saw seemed happy. They didn't want to go back into the bag so I guess they'll be staying. I fed them some table scraps and leaf mulch. With any luck, in a few months I'll have 500 worms... if you know what I mean. I'm piping romantic music into the yard to encourage them.So yeah, this is a bag of worms. AND dirt. 250 of them. Well trained. Wiggly. Yup.
Ugh ugh
