Decent poster board- one side smooth and satin/glossy and one side a little more matte. No texture/tooth to either, so mostly created for things like markers and poster paint/tempera. Good for student use, but not necessarily for art applications. I ordered it hoping to do preliminary sketches and paintings on it for finished works, but because it's so smooth, it limits my own personal use with it (I like to use color pencils in early layers, so not enough tooth). but for paint, it works well.

I don't know about the shiny side. I love the price for the size. I was able to find frames for the size. On the other side, I had no problem drawing and using paint markers on them. I still have plenty left. I might cut down to fit smaller frames

This ROOKEA poster board isn’t the thick and sturdy kind, it’s more like 92lb card stock. Still, it’s good for painting, marking, drawing, crafts and projects. It’s the perfect larger size paper for an art portfolio. One side has a smooth glossy finish and the other side has a matte finish, so keep that in mind, depending on which surface texture you prefer.

Got this for my toddlers arts and crafts. The size is really big and the material is really thick. I love it!!! The amount of pcs is a plus! My toddler and I love this!

Such a great set of multipack poster boards with really good value. Love the bulk size set, it makes it easy to do arts & crafts, group/class activities and just to have on hand.Nice size poster boards! Perfect for making large creations and good for both little and big kids, even adults.Awesome quality! Medium thick with solid weighted material. Strong and durable!

I'm creating displays for 24 baskets for a holiday concert raffle basket event, and these are a great size and stiffness to be a blank "canvas" for displaying info about each raffle basket, and putting on an easel by each basket. Great size, great quality, highly recommend.

This poster board is great for painting, projects, drawing and more. Dries quickly and pretty large to accommodate whatever project you have in mind.
