These are very nice backing boards. My 2nd purchase of BCW backing boards, as a matter of fact. They fit all of my bagged magazines and most of my bagged magazine-sized comic books. I do have some magazine-sized comic books that came in bags that barely fit the comic. It's a tight squeeze to get one of these backing boards into the bag. It can be done, but it makes the bag bow out a little when both the board and the comic book are inserted. In cases like that, I just replaced the entire bag with a newer (wider) one so it would lie flat.

I've been purchasing this size/brand magazine boards for a few years now. It works beautifully for keeping my fabric in order, easily accessible, and nicely pressed.

I regularly sell collector's magazines on eBay and when they sell I package each one carefully with one of these backing boards into one of the matching plastic sleeves, and buyers just love them. These are the most value for the money and they work perfectly, the thickness is very sturdy and the fit into the plastic sleeves is excellent. I've had nothing but compliments on the way I package my magazines so I can highly recommend this to everyone.

I have been wrapping my quilt fabric on these cards for the last five years and it was the best thing I've done lately for my quilting hobby. The fabric is easy to access as I can just flip through the colors to find what I need, and the cards keep the fabric from getting wadded up and wrinkled. Not only that, it looks fantastic!I have as little as a quarter yard up to four yards on a single card. The cardboard is rigid enough to easily wrap the fabric round it, although the boards are not rigid enough to stand on their own. They work best when there are several on the shelf.

This is definitely thicker and more sturdy than poster board. Great for wrapping fabrics around and storing vertically on shelves. Acid-free, so good for fabric storage long-term. Get some plastic shirt clips separately to secure the ends of the fabric on the board --and it is a lot more cost effective to do it this way than to buy all-in-one kits which have less boards and are more expensive. I've gone through 200 boards now and am ordering more! I'd say minimum 1 yd of fabric per board, maximum ??? yards of fabric --I've put up to maybe 7 yards of a fabric around a board, and it still holds just fine. Recommend!

I have used these to wrap my small amounts of fabric i.e. 1/2 metre and upwards. They are ideal for the job and make having a small stash of fabric much easier to store and tidier too. The number of boards in this pack should keep a fabric hoarder happy for a while.

As with so many others reviewing this product, I purchased these for organizing my quilting fabric, and they have given my sewing room a whole new look. While the weight is pretty equivalent to most cereal boxes, it would take a lot of breakfasts (and tedious cutting to size) to get enough box cartons ready for what this little package provides, already cut and ready to go.Some reviewers have mentioned that the boards seem too light weight for fabric, but the key is simply not to wrap the cloth too tightly the first couple of turns. Since the size is just right for the typical 44-45 inch fabric, just fold the cloth in lengthwise quarters, lay fabric and backing board on a flat surface and proceed to wrap up the cloth. One other point--these also make great backings for printed out photos you may want to send in the mail, even an extra layer for putting behind a cross stitch or other craft picture before framing. Lots of versatility for a relatively low cost...and easily reusable.
