I use this poster board to draw patterns for 12.5” quilt blocks. Enough room to draw the pattern full size and the add 1/4” seam allowance (+) a small amount for sizing up each section before sewing strips together.Use a 12.5” size up ruler to start the pattern layout. Then add the basic design (usually a house block). I create in horizontal strips to later sew together. Write with blue ink for actual design and red pen to list the actual fabric cut size.Heavy enough to write design on and store for future use. Plenty of room to add notes as needed.

This is really thin, which makes it seem more like a shiny cardstock than actual poster board. I'm just used to poster board having a little more thickness to it, so this actually folds a little too easy and getting creases out of it is a nightmare. Otherwise, however, it's pretty good. It's a nice bright white, so markers stand out really good against it, just have to make sure not to smudge them before it dries fully.

11x14 poster board pack that is good quality paper and works great for crafts in the classroom. The pack is a perfect size for a classroom. The paper is great with markers and holds up against paint as well.At roughly 50 cents a sheet, this is a great deal!

This is pretty standard quality thin poster board, like a card stock. The corners can get easily crunched, so just be aware. The surface is smooth, slightly glossy poster style. All the sheets look good, no issues.

I teach adult ed ESL and I often have my students make small posters with various words/phrases on them to hang around the room so they can be exposed to these words and phrases frequently. I usually use printer paper, but I like these since they're a little bigger but also better for coloring with marker. Smaller posterboard isn't really common in stores, and I know I'll do a horrible job if I buy large posterboard and cut it myself. The convenience alone of the smaller pieces is worth a little extra for me.
