this setup is really easy to use, and does a good job weighing down the plants while allowing space below for the roots to take off.i found that the basket didn't really "snap" into the ring, so it always feels like it's close to coming off, but generally stays on. even when it does pop off, a firm push gets it back on pretty easily.i've had 2 "bad batch" ones where the plant kept popping out of the basket, but I think that may be because of the foam insert got compressed from the shipping and never really fully opened back up fully?

These are identical to what a lot of fish stores sell their plants in. Nice weight and well made, these are good for weighing down plants. I'm using these to aid in keeping plants in fluval stratum and they are so helpful.
