The fiberglass rods seem not to have SAE threads, however they do not specify what the threads are. If you have other brushes the rods probably will not fit. The company's help is worthless, they do not provide live help or a e-mail. I would not buy these again.

This is good for vent cleaning. I do not recommend using to clean chimney as it is so lightweight. Power drill tightened the rods so hard I had to use vice grips to take it apart. Conversely using it by hand the rods separated. I am not impressed.

I was under the impression that the kit came with 2 brushes, one for chimney and other for the dryer vents, which would require different size brushes.Both brushes are the same size, 4 inches.I don't see how a 4in brush will clean a 6in chimney liner.I will ask for a refund.
