Do not buy the 8in for the 8in stove pipe. It is way too big and the bristles are not forgiving. Go a size or two down for the size of your pipe.

The brush head is incredibly stiff and perfect for 8inch chimney pipes. The rods are very sturdy and well-built as well! For me, however, they didn’t work. Not by any fault of the manufacturer and this is not a review to dissuade anyone from out here. This is for information purposes. I had to remove the damper completely to get the brush into the flue. I have (2) 45 degree angled elbows in my chimney and the brush and rods were able to make the first 45 but not able ti make it past the second. My roof is such that coming down from the top is very difficult, otherwise this would not have been an issue. This is something to consider when purchasing. If your chimney and flue are straight with no bends this kit should be amazing for you. If you have more than one bend and or any tight bends this may not be a good fit.
