Used a few of these in my ex wife's ac unit. The condensate drain got plugged and the transformer got wet and burnt out. Looks and fails just like the original. just keep it dry

If you are looking for a transformer that works with the poorly named "Nest doorbell (Battery)" which actually works with wired power too, look no further. That doorbell in wired mode needs 16-24V AC for whatever reason (why can't they just accept 110-240V AC like normal products) and I can't believe they just let you fend for yourself to get the AC to AC transformer.And because I needed to install it in my mom's place overseas, I really needed it to do a step down from 240V. I could not have asked for a better product. Super clear color coding and instructions to install. I just wish it came with an enclosure and screws so I could mount it on a wall. The electrician who set up the doorbell for me got his own enclosure and that worked out.
