Fit my Payne unit perfectly and Operates perfectly. I’m sure the negative reviews from others saying it leaks is because they didn’t seal the unit where it meets the heater. I used high temp gasket sealer. It also comes with new spacers. My HVAC guy wanted 1325$ to replace. I saved 1100$ doing myself.

Our furnace stopped working suddenly during the end of winter. It would have been costly to have a contractor in and repair. The part was also much more expensive elsewhere. It has been installed and working great over the last few months.

From start to finish, it took me 20 minutes to replace this item. Furnace fired up with no problems. Thank you for saving me $1000.00 to have a professional do this.

Ordered as soon as our 2006 era Carrier furnace draft inducer motor started acting up just before the holidays and thankfully came in just before the "Bomb Cyclone" of 2022 hit. The motor was whining and did not always start, just heating up in place. 3MFD capacitor tested fine. Was really surprised to find the box was not for a ClimaTek JE1D013N but instead a NBK 20288 draft inducer assembly, which can be found for a lower cost here on Amazon and elsewhere. The NBK fit the same applications and looked solid, so decided to install anyway with the record cold weather approaching. Some of the reviews of the NBK and other non-OEM units reported a leaky housing, so I ran a preventative bead of high temp silicone around the seams and triangular flange just in case. Installation was a breeze with basic hand tools: 1/4" & 5/16" drivers, and pliers for hose connection and cap. Toughest part was refitting the four mounting standoffs from the old housing, these were a very tight fit and might need some sanding down or lubricant. My power connector lined up as-is, so no issues there. (Make sure yours does too before powering on.) I would say this is well within DIY territory.A week in of heavy use and glad to report zero leaks and consistent near silent operation. So can't really complain about the switcheroo.

Very simple to install - just google a video - fits perfectly and saved hundreds of dollars in labor and mark ups if I had to use a HVAC repairperson.

Bought this unit to replace the original unfortunately purchased the end of last winter and installed over the summer , after running the furnace for a few days this week I have water everywhere , since I'm an auto mechanic i went into troubleshooting mode and found that the water was leaking right out of this brand new unit , i took it apart only to find that there was absolutely NO silicone around where it should be so i sealed it up and now waiting a few hrs to let the silicone set up before I fire up the furnace to see if the leak is fixed , total JUNK WOULD NOT BUY !!!!!
